This game is a collaborative story-telling experience. Respect other players, the DM, and the game. If you have a problem, please communicate with me and the other players so any issues can be addressed.

I am not a mind reader and neither are your fellow players. House rules are negotiable, but I have the final say. When a rule discrepancy pops up in session, I may make a temporary call to keep the game moving and then re-evaluate the rule outside of the game. Some rules in D&D are very simple and do not work in certain circumstances. Chronic punctuality issues with no notice will result in being ejected from the game. If you are going to be late or miss a session, it is your responsibility to alert me as soon as possible. Complimentary commission of your player character after committing to 4 sessions. Start at level 3, milestone leveling, up to level 20 depending on party preference. Modified downtime training rules for increased character customization. Magic items from The Griffon’s Saddlebag. Custom world filled with diverse NPCs to interact with and where actions influence the story. Roleplay heavy game with all three pillars of play (combat, social interaction, exploration). Private discord server with text roleplay channels, images of regions, custom maps, campaign notes, etc. I aim to have a high level of trust within my groups which leads to a more engaging and fun experience for all.

I’m a big supporter of communicating with players, integrating their ideas so they feel connected to the setting, and being flexible with how things happen. Hopefully the result is more exciting than baseball though.

My approach to DMing is similar to playing baseball where I pitch plot hooks and activities at the players, but they ultimately determine where the ball gets hit to and I determine how the world reacts. Though my DM experience is more recent, I have been writing fantasy stories, comic scripts, and world building since 2008 with my partner. I’m originally from Canada, now living in the USA, and I work as a freelance artist/graphic designer/communications specialist. About me My name is Lynn (she/her), I’m 28, and I’ve been DMing for 2+ years primarily in my own 5e setting and RotFM. How you got to this point and where you go from here is up to you. Foul weather conditions and conflicts on the high seas have forced ships to drop passengers off here instead of their intended destination of Emberwin which holds an annual celebration known as the Fire Festival. Will you explore the isolated island territories, map the winding underground labyrinths, or brave the frigid north or the darkest depths of the sea? Your journey starts on a passenger ship destined for the port town of Beauford on the Amstred Peninsula. Rumors of strange magic and monsters are passed down across the trading routes, giving rise to superstition in the minds of locals and travelers alike. Will you make friends with a rival adventuring party, unveil the machinations of a deadly cult, or usurp a corrupt government? Beyond city walls and civilization there is more uncertainty.

A diverse cast of NPCs await you and your party. Conspiracies run deep and opportunities to build your reputation in the world abound. Within the cities, towns, and villages that dot the land, a traveler may find many comforts, challenges, and dangers. Wars, famine, natural disasters, and magical anomalies all put strain on the relationships of these countries and territories. These differences connect the lands, but also divide them. All are unique, with their own beliefs and customs. Alaenstria’s power and resources are divided among many seats of power. This land has a long, rich history waiting to be uncovered.
